Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today declared a state of emergency across New York City, Long Island and Westchester. We are urging residents to stay home, stay off the roads and stay safe.
To allow the Village plows to operate safely and efficiently please keep vehicles off of the streets. As per Village code 193.14, the Department of Public Works and the Police Department of the Incorporated Village of Garden City are authorized to remove and store any vehicle which is parked on a public highway during any snowstorm.
